Molly has lived with me a few months now. In that time, I’ve come to the conclusion that she is hilarious. Y’all this dog has so many quirks and personality traits she needs her own reality TV show. I mean it. I would watch. Real Fur Babies of Atlanta. Bravo, E!, Lifetime, anyone…write that down! Genius!
Alright, you ready for this? Here are just a FEW of Molly’s quirks.
-She doesn’t like for people to watch her use the bathroom. We have to go to this area in the parking lot of my apartment complex with a a lot of thick trees on a hill. She climbs under the trees and stays there for awhile. I’m assuming this is when she goes to the bathroom because I can’t climb up there.
-If we are someone other than the apartment, she will stick her head in a bush and use the bathroom. Everyone else can see her go, but she can’t see that people are watching her go, so it’s ok.
-Mimo hides under the bed so Molly does too. Seriously they’re like two giggling school girls hiding from mom. You can practically hear them laughing under there.
-They also have really in depth conversations about life.
-She loves to lick people’s knees. Knees?!
-She sleeps on her back with all four legs in the air.
-Her tongue is straight out in the picture above but that’s rare. 99.9% of the time it’s hanging out sideways like the hyenas from the Lion King.
-She eats her rawhide bones so intensely that her drool mixes with the bone and she always has a white substance on her nose. Plus she is so excited all the time it’s like living with a literal crack addict.
-She gets really really emotional about Sex and the City. I couldn’t get her to stop puppy crying when Carrie and Big broke up for the first time. I couldn’t even get her to stop when I explained that they eventually get back together. She pouted for a whole day.
-She has big Yoda ears and sometimes one gets stuck in the air. She looks like Yoda mixed with a Gremlin.
-Like many dogs, she is addicted to the tennis ball. However, she will drop the tennis ball in your lap and if you don’t throw it in a timely fashion, she will drop her rope, bone, stuffed animal carcass, sock, or anything else that can be tossed across the room. Like it was the item that I was against, not the fact that it was the nine-thousandth time that I threw that ball.
-She smiles all the time. Plus she has freckles which just makes it the cutest thing ever.
Sorry for the blurry photo…She moves a lot.
Ugh, I just love my girl.
What crazy quirks do your fur babies have?

Haha these are too cute! When I first got Sheba she'd do the run into the bushes and hide to go to the bathroom thing. It was the funniest thing!

SATC Bahaha I'm dying! Also, about how she's like an ostrich…if I can't see you, you can't see me!

So cute! I love the sex and the city part lol. Starla is super picking about bathroom spots too. Sometimes she circles around for almost a minute before deciding against that spot.

I think Molly and Gunner should be girlfriend and boyfriend because they are like the same exact dog! Gunner's tongue is always flopping out sideways, he has lots of fun with our kitty, he's obsessed with the ball, and will drop every single one of his toys in your lap till you throw something for him. Not sure about the not watching him go thing though – must be a lady like adaptation 🙂

Bahahahahahah… she sticks her head in the bushes! That is AWESOME!
Bahahaha, I love that she sticks her head in the bushes. I feel like this is the equivalent of me closing my eyes in the bathroom if someone else is in there. Is that weird? I know they're still there, but I can't see them shuffling around. Probably weird!
Cutie! So glad she's settling nicely to her new home
