Every woman should have a toolbox. You just should. Don’t borrow them from a man in your life. You need your own set of tools you know how to use/can lift without getting a hernia. Mine is pink, plus the proceeds benefited breast cancer awareness and education.
You don’t need the latest state of the art tools that nobody really knows what they are or how to use them. You simply need a few things. This bag is great because it has the basics, plus I/my dad added a few extra things. Here is all you need in your tool box.
-tape measure
-hammer
-tape (scotch, painters, and duck tape)
-screwdriver with different heads (Phillips, flat, etc.)
-push pins
-rubber bands
-box cutter
-scissors (different shapes. sometimes you need the really skinny kind)
-staple remover (this has come in handy more than once)
-pliers
-an Allen wrench
-gloves
-Neosporin and band-aids (because let’s face it, unless you are Bob the Builder this could get ugly)
That’s it! I’m not saying you could build a house with this toolbox, but you can definitely hang a picture and fix your garbage disposal.
What tools do you always have on hand?
I needed this when I lived by myself! I just always had to get really creative lol Now that my boyfriend and I have lived together for years and we did a lot of work on our first house, I think we have every tool imaginable. My boyfriend's tool bag is crazy heavy though. I hate lugging that thing around. It's practically a piece of furniture!
I have a very similar toolbox!! My mom got it for me for Christmas one year. Great to be self sufficient!
Oh man I totally need this. I'm the least handy chick you will probably meet. I cant even change a dang bulb (though Ill continue to blame that on my height).
I have a pink toolbox too! I'm not great at repairing things (I usually just call maintenance to help), but for small issues, I'm always excited to save the day with my pink tools!
