Best of Atlanta Party

Last night, I had the privilege of attending the Best of Atlanta Party hosted by Atlanta Magazine. Every year, Atlanta Magazine puts out an edition highlighting the best restaurants, breweries, wines, and local goodies as voted on by the readers. Then they host a huge party and bring all the winners together to showcase their products and raise money for a local charity.

Attendees get to travel around the hall and try unlimited food, drinks, and desserts from all the winners. I, of course, had my favorites!

Helen’s Favorites:
Bourbon Slushies from the Atlanta Food and Wine Festival Booth
Gayla’s Grits – I had the cheesy version and almost fell on the floor. So delicious!
Farmburger’s Carrot Dip and homemade potato chips
Honeysuckle Gelato- I had the Key Lime Pie gelato. Incredible.
The Fry Guy food truck – I’ve actually had these before, but love them so much I had to stop by.
Bell Street Burritos – They had a “bowlrito” sample that was amazing.
Crown Royal – The Apple Flavor

These were just my highlights, but I really didn’t sample anything that I didn’t love. Atlanta definitely has some good eats!

Of course, what is a great event without a great swag bag?? This one definitely delivered.

In addition to all the goodies you see above, I also received a subscription to Atlanta Magazine. Yes, all of the things at the bottom are gift cards and coupons to go and eat more. See ya never, diet!

It was a great night! Who’s in for the food and wine festival at the end of May? I’m in need of more Bourbon Slushies in my life…
