I like my hair for the most part. It’s a little rough in the summer because it’s so humid in Atlanta so I sport a mini afro…but overall I like my hair. It’s pretty thick so I can do a lot of things with it, plus I do a lot of hair flipping and it’s long enough to do that.
However, I thought it might be fun to accentuate my favorite hair features by trying out extensions. This all started because I got a coupon in my email inbox for Irresistible Me hair extensions. I have no idea how the coupon got there, but I’m glad it did because I had been thinking about trying extensions for awhile. So I went online and ordered the Royal Remy Hair 18 inch 140 gram extensions in platinum blonde.
It took about four days for them to arrive at my house. They came in this cute packaging.
My favorite part about these extensions is the opportunity to test the color and length before opening the package. There is a health seal because the extensions are real hair, and once that is opened they can’t be returned. However, these extensions give you a test piece to make sure the color and length will match your hair.
So I took my test piece out and checked it against my actual hair. Excuse the hot mess, this was one night after work…The curly piece in the middle of all the rat’s nest is the extension, and the color is pretty darn perfect.
So I couldn’t wait to try these babies out. I had a wedding this weekend and decided it was the perfect time to bust them out. I have the eight piece set which includes one 4-clip piece, three 3-clip pieces, two 2-clip pieces, and two 1-clip pieces. I’ll be honest this is a lot of hair, especially when my hair is already so thick, so I didn’t use them all. I can see how they are all useful though and may try a different combination of pieces next time.
This was how they looked after I put them in a gave them a little curl. I LOVED them. My hair was so long and so full and you definitely couldn’t see the clips in the back. I put my friend on clip duty to make sure they were hidden and they didn’t see the clips the whole night. Definitely a success. I am definitely going to wear these again.
The Irresistible Me extensions can be cut, curled, colored, and styled because they are real hair! I highly recommend these extensions to anyone who might be thinking about trying them out!

Super cute!! I bought some from Sally's to wear for my wedding to get more volume and I loved them but they were so heavy!! My hair is too short now to use them (talk about a mullet haha), so I have them waiting in my closet to use again some day.
That's awesome. I've never tried extensions and would love to try them to make my hair a bit thicker. Especially in the summer my hair gets sooooo FLAT
I've been really wanting to get extensions but it is so hard to know if what you are buying is worth it, plus they are so expensive! It's nice to see a good review on a realistic set. They look great!

As someone with long hair like you, I've always hesitated on getting extensions because I really don't need them. But they look so good on you it makes me want to try!
