Recently, I’ve received a few questions on Instagram, so I took one of those handy dandy story polls. I asked if you would like to see a Q & A answering these and other questions. The answer was overwhelming yes, so here we are. I asked on Instagram again yesterday for some more questions, and I got some really good ones! So thanks for participating, this is going to be fun!

What are your favorite places to shop?
I love to check out as many boutiques and stores as I possibly can, but I do have my favorites. Red Dress Boutique lives at the top of my list. So many of my clothes come from this boutique in Athens. I don’t live in Athens, but I shop their online store at least one or two times a week.
Some of my other favorites include Nordstrom, Target, Francesca’s, The Loft, and TJ Maxx.
Who takes your photos?
I used to take all of my photos on a tripod with a timer. Recently though, my super sweet husband has been taking them for me. He’s gotten so so good too. He accompanies me to all of my media events and even takes my outfit photos with no complaints. I really hit the jackpot in the marriage department, ya know?

Your hotel in Nashville was awesome! Where did you stay?
So our hotel was the bomb dot com. However, we got a totally unexpected upgrade for our room. So yes I absolutely loved our hotel, but the reason it looked so dope on my Instagram stories was because of our complimentary upgrade. Regardless, we stayed at The Westin in Nashville and I would absolutely recommend it. The hotel is beautiful, has spectacular views and an awesome rooftop bar, and the location can’t be beat.

What mascara do you use?
I use Soap and Glory Thick N’ Fast. However, the reason my lashes are so long and dark is because I religiously use Rodan and Fields Lash Boost. I swear by this stuff and use it every night! Everyone asks me if my lashes are fake but they are just super thick and fabulous thanks to Lash Boost.
OK my favorite question I’ve gotten maybe ever…What hair products does Stephen use?
Stephen does have really great hair. Doesn’t he look like a life-size Ken doll? I just think he is the most handsome man on the planet. Would you believe he used to buzz his head?? He had all that beautiful hair and didn’t embrace it until a few years ago. Anyways, he helped me with this question for sure.
He washes his hair with Redken Clean Spice 2-in-1 Shampoo and Conditioner. He also puts this leave in conditioner on in the morning. For events, he adds DoveΒ Sculpting Paste for a stronger hold than the conditioner.

What do you find the most enjoyable about blogging? The most difficult?
I truly and honestly love blogging. Almost every part of it. I love coming up with content, I love taking the photos, I love responding to emails, I love discovering new products and brands. All of it. However, the thing I enjoy the most is creating and cultivating a community of readers and other bloggers. I love meeting people who read my blog and on the flip side, who I read their blog. It’s just very cool.
The thing I find the most difficult is finding time. I work a lot of full-time job hours, and don’t always have the time to put the necessary hours into my blog. This could very easily be a full-time job, so trying to squeeze a lot of hours of work into only a few is really difficult. However, I love it so much that I will keep trucking along!

Finding time for blogging is the most difficult for me too. I haven’t been able to take photos lately and my IG is suffering! You are lucky your husband is so involved and helpful!
I love Q&A posts! My fiancee takes all of my photos too, so we are both lucky girls in that respect! I’ve worked with a few professional photographers in the past, but I really enjoy working with fiancee the best since we’re able to learn more about photography and shoot for as long as we want until we get the perfect shots! xx
