Welp. I took a little time off from blogging. I didn’t really mean to. I’ve just been busy. Like really busy…especially at work. When you’re that busy, something has to get pushed off and unfortunately, my blog was the thing to get ignored. Life is calming down a little though. I have some posts scheduled for this week (thank goodness) but I figured I would just play a little catch up today. Sound good?
Molly turned one! My sweet little nugget baby is all grown up and technically no longer considered a “puppy.” I don’t participate in technicalities. She’ll always be a puppy to me. I just couldn’t possibly love this little face more. I just want to be home with her and Mimo all the time.
Last weekend, I went to Biloxi for a girl’s weekend and had SO much fun. Saturday we all won money. Sunday we all lost money. I had never been to a casino and I learned two things…first, casinos have amazing food. Second, I have a problem adding basic numbers while playing Blackjack. Third grade Helen would be so disappointed in me. She worked so hard to learn basic math.
I completed my first 21-Day Fix Challenge. I did cheat a few times in Biloxi and tacked on some extra days so it was more like the 24-Day Challenge. But overall I lost 10 pounds this round and feel great. I’m taking a week off just to regroup, take care of some major cravings, and give my poor muscles a breather before starting round 2.
This weekend we had snow in Atlanta. I will be the first to say, Atlanta is not equipped for snow. Not even a little bit… Yes, we are aware the rest of the country makes fun of us for completely shutting down for the possibility of flurries. No we do not care. We. can’t. do. snow. It actually was not that bad this time. We’ve learned from past mistakes, and the whole state shut down between 12-2 on Friday. So by the time the snow actually fell, we were all home holed up in our bunkers fully stocked with bread and milk.

Texas is the same way! We are so not equipped for it. We get snow maybe once a year but we get a ton of ice and when we do, everything shuts down! Enjoy your week! π
totally understand about pushing the blog to the backburner when you're busy. i can handle being busy anywhere else in life, but if it's work it just becomes too stressful to blog as well lol. happy birthday to molly! congrats on your 21 day fix success!

We basically shut Birmingham down too and we got less snow than you guys did. Atlanta always looks so weird covered in snow! We cant help that we dont have salt trucks down here, ya know?! Hope you have a great week!
Glad you're all safe and sound with the snow! In upstate NY we got nothing and it was great! I can't tell you how much I hate snow. Bring on the spring!!

Happy Birthday Molly!! I saw that you guys got a little snow. We got about 30 inches in DC. Ugh. However, today was my first day back in the office. So I'm not complaining about that.
