Hellllo! Happy Monday!
I just came back from the MOST amazing conference with The Blog Societies. 75 bloggers got together to learn about strategies and best practices to make our blogs the best they can be. It was an amazing weekend and I’m so incredible thankful for my experience.
Now, because I was going to a conference with 75 bloggers, I wanted to look and feel my best. I have very long blonde hair. I feel like it’s kind of my signature thing, so I really wanted to focus on getting my hair super healthy, shiny and smooth before the event…especially since I knew we were making flower crowns and there would be tons of pictures. I turned to Uberliss for help!
Uberliss literally means “Super Smooth.” They are known for delivering shine, softness and silkiness to your hair. Plus these products are cruelty-free and not tested on animals which I love.
So today, I want to share my steps I used to get super shiny, smooth, healthy and blonde (NOT BRASSY) hair just in time for the conference.
Step 1: Wash your hair with Uberliss Hydrating Shampoo
This shampoo is sulfate-free shampoo so it cleanses your hair without stripping the moisture. This is amazing because it foams up and makes your hair SO easy to comb. Some shampoos give your hair a coarse and tangled texture, and when you comb through it pulls strands out. Not with this. When you comb through it’s like combing through silky spun gold. You have to try it yourself to get the full effect but trust me when I say these products are game-changers.
Step 2: Use a Bond Sustainer 1-2 times a week
I switch between the regular Bond Sustainer and the Platinum Jasmine. The regular Bond Sustainer helps heal broken hair bonds. It’s better than conditioner, it truly repairs your hair from the inside out and the results are unreal. Since I dye my hair AND heat-style it, these bond sustainers are necessary to repair my dry and damaged ends. I use the regular Bond Sustainer once or twice a week.
I use the Platinum Jasmine Bond Sustainer as a toner. This product eliminates orange or brassy tones (which I can’t stand) and leaves my hair icy and cool. I have used SO many purple shampoos and there are some that work ok, some that don’t work at all, but NONE are like the Platinum Jasmine Bond Sustainer.
This is semi-permanent and lasts 8 washes so you really only have to use it once a week. If you want to use it as a toner, you can apply it to your dry hair and leave on for 20 minutes. I just want to eliminate brassy tones, so I use it while my hair is damp and leave on for about 10 minutes.
Both of these products are fantastic and give such a healthy shine. I can’t get enough and I love the way my hair feels after I use them.
Step 3: Use Frizz Elixer before heat-styling.
I don’t know why I haven’t been doing this all along, but my hair is out of control frizzy in the summer. Atlanta humidity is no joke y’all. This Frizz Elixer is exactly the thing I needed to keep my frizz under control. This product in particular protects against humidity, thermal damage and frizz. It smooths out all your cuticles and is totally safe on color-treated hair.
I use this before I blow-dry, curl or straighten my hair. I just spritz throughout and then go to work on my heat styling.
Step 4: Use the Uberliss Smoothing RituOil
I use this smoothing oil after every wash. You won’t believe how thirsty your hair is if you use color and heat-style. A few drops of this is really all you need. This oil mixes Orchid & Argan Oil to seal your hair cuticles and prevent moisture loss. I take a tiny little bit (like one pump) and distribute through my wet hair. I comb through to make sure it’s evenly distributed, then either blow dry or towel dry.
All of these combined efforts make such a difference. I’ve never seen my hair so healthy or strong. I changed up my hair care routine to get healthy and shiny hair for the conference, but will definitely be sticking to this routine going forward. I can’t believe the results and I’m so very pleased with every Uberliss product I’ve been using. The color and texture is just amazing and I catch myself touching my hair all the time.
I made this little video to further explain the products and how I use them. If you have questions please be sure to reach out and I would be happy to answer them!
