The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is coming! I’m hoping to share helpful blog posts, my favorite items from the sale, what I’m shopping this year, bestsellers, gift ideas and more! I will be updating my blog as well as the LTK App throughout the sale.
You may be asking why this sale is such a big deal. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is the one time of year Nordstrom unveils brand new items on sale. After the sale, prices go back up, so rather than buy items on their way out of season on sale, you get to purchase items at a discounted price before the season begins. There are also great staple items, designer and luxury finds, menswear, activewear, beauty favorites, and more!
What am I shopping for? Some of my favorite things to shop throughout the sale are coats and shoes, but I buy lots of fall items and staple pieces as well. The beauty exclusives are also excellent to purchase during the sale.

Are you putting together a shopping guide? I am! I like putting these together for sales throughout the year. The biggest challenge this year is that I had a baby at the end of April. So now I have two kids in addition to a full-time job. So I’m going to do my best to get it out as quickly as I can! Definitely sign up for my email list because subscribers will receive it first!

How do you shop the sale early? To shop early, you need to be a Nordstrom Card Member. The Icons and Ambassador tiers are spending levels in addition to cardmember status, but the influencer level means you have opened a Nordstrom Card. Along with getting to shop the sale early, you get other great benefits if you are a regular Nordstrom shopper like double point days, an alterations spend, 2-day shipping and more.
Should I shop in-store or online? I do both, but definitely start online. The inventory is greater. Also, I don’t recommend in-store pick-up during the sale. It’s so busy and mistakes happen. It happened to me last year. There wasn’t enough inventory and they didn’t fulfill one of my orders even though I had a notification to pick up. Then I didn’t get some of those items. So just order online and ship to your house, especially if it’s one of your must-have wishlist items. Then it is fun to go in store and shop as well. I go in after I have placed my online order so it’s a no-pressure situation. I always end up liking something in the store and end up purchasing it. Most of the time, it’s an item I totally overlooked and didn’t even include in my shopping guide. I like surprises like that when shopping in-store.
