The Kentucky Derby is one of the most prestigious horse races in the world, but it’s also an excuse to throw a fantastic party. When planning a Kentucky Derby party, one must think of the perfect menu to accompany the excitement and sophistication of the race. This is where pimento cheese and bacon mini biscuits come in.
Pimento cheese, a Southern staple, is a creamy and savory spread made from cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, and pimentos. It’s versatile and can be served in a variety of ways, including as a dip, a spread, or a sandwich filling. But when paired with mini biscuits and crispy bacon, it becomes the perfect appetizer for a Kentucky Derby party.

Mini biscuits are an essential component of Southern cuisine and can be made in a variety of ways. However, adding bacon to the mix takes them to a whole new level. These bite-sized biscuits are a perfect finger food that can be enjoyed while watching the races. They’re also easy to make, which means you can spend more time enjoying the party and less time in the kitchen.
Pimento cheese and bacon mini biscuits are not only delicious, but they also pay homage to Southern cuisine and tradition. These appetizers are a crowd-pleaser and will leave your guests wanting more. They pair well with mint juleps, the classic Kentucky Derby drink, or any other beverage of your choice.
Whether you’re hosting a large party or a small gathering, these bite-sized treats will impress your guests and make your Kentucky Derby party a success.
Ben and I actually made these for breakfast this weekend, so all of our pics are in our pajamas! You can watch the full “Baking with Benny” reel here!
