The National Championship Game and the Super Bowl are right around the corner. So today I’m sharing two options for a football-shaped cheese ball for your viewing parties. We love a cheese ball around here. Keep reading to see how you can make small, individual-sized cheeseballs and one large cheese ball for sharing.

How to make Football Cheese Balls
Ingredients:
-A block of cream cheese
-Sour Cream
-A packet of ranch seasoning mix
-Shredded cheddar cheese
-Bacon bits or chopped pecans

Instructions:
-Add cream cheese, sour cream, ranch mix and shredded cheese to a mixing bowl.
-Use a hand mixer to blend up all the ingredients.
-If you want to make individual cheese balls, use a spoon to scoop individual balls onto small pieces of plastic wrap. Wrap them up and shape them into footballs and place them in the fridge for at least two hours.
-If you want to make one large cheese ball, scoop the entire mixture onto a larger piece of plastic wrap. Wrap it up, shape it into a football, and place it in the fridge for at least two hours.
-Once it’s done, you can either coat the cheese balls in bacon bits or chopped pecans. If you are doing individual cheese balls, you can wrap some in one and some in the other.
-Place a pretzel stick in the individual cheese balls for easy eating. Serve the larger one with crackers.
