Happy November 1! I hope you all had a very safe and happy Halloween last night. Now that Halloween is over it’s time to start looking toward Thanksgiving and the holiday season. We’re kicking off the last two months of the year with these adorable corn-shaped treat bags for Thanksgiving.
These treat bags are super simple to make and would be fun and festive as part of your Thanksgiving decor, on your Thanksgiving tablescape, as to-go party favors for your friendsgiving dinner, or as fun treats for your child’s classroom Thanksgiving party. Keep reading to see how I put these together.

How to Make Thanksgiving Treat Bags
What you’ll need:
–Long, skinny cellophane treat bags
-Twist ties if your bags don’t come with their own
–Fall-colored Jelly Beans
–Burlap ribbon
-Scissors

How to assemble your Thanksgiving treat bags
-Fill the treat bags with fall-colored jelly beans. I use a spoon to help keep everything contained.
-Secure the bag with a twist tie. You can either snip the ends of the tie or tuck it around the tie.
-Tie a piece of burlap ribbon in a knot around the twist tie and pull the pieces straight up.
-Tie a second piece of burlap ribbon around the first knot.
-Bunch up the burlap to give it texture.
-Serve either in a basket as favors or as part of your tablescape!
If you have leftover jellybeans and can’t fill an entire treat bag, you can fill to a certain portion and cut off the top of the bag. Small, mini corn cobs are totally a thing. Also, a good idea to make them smaller if you are making them for little ones.
What do you do for Thanksgiving?
