Mommy-and-Me Halloween Costume: The Very Hungry Caterpillar

I LOVE today’s costume. You have to head to Instagram to see the reel for this one too. Ben is so stinkin’ cute running around in his caterpillar costume. Obviously “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” is a classic children’s book. Ben is one of the many children who love it. So we had to dedicate today’s costume to the caterpillar.

It’s also fitting because my son is a very hungry toddler. So seemed like a perfect idea for my bottomless pit.

For Ben’s costume, I found this cute caterpillar costume. It’s easy to put on and take off, you just slide it over their head. It comes in several different sizes for kids of all ages. We got the small for Ben and it fit well. He just wore grey pants and a long sleeve shirt underneath. You could go green or brown, but we already had grey on so we just rolled with it.

For my food costume, I found this cute t-shirt that already had all of the foods that the caterpillar ate on it. It comes in several different colors, but I knew I had a pink skort that would look cute with it, so I opted for the pink. I am wearing the large and it runs true to size.
