Today’s costume was kind of a disaster even though the thought behind it was cute. Basically, my child gets hangry and hates having things on his head. So while he usually is fine and happy to participate, this one was a big no from him. Regardless, it’s still an adorable costume, and I want to share it in case you are still coming up with an idea for a costume.
In this post, I’m sharing all the details of our Ratatouille costume. Ben was Remy the Rat and I was Linguine. These costumes were pretty easy to put together with the help of Amazon.

For Ben’s Remy the Rat costume, I found this little grey mouse costume. It runs SMALL. Very small. This was supposed to be 12-24 months which should technically fit Ben and it didn’t even come close. The ears were way too small and the bottom snaps didn’t even sort of reach. But we made it work for a photo. If you are going to do this and have a bigger baby, I recommend finding another mouse costume.
For my Linguine costume, I found this chef’s jacket and chef’s hat. Very easy. I just wore black jeans and voila!

If you do this costume you have to get a picture of your sweet baby on your shoulders and tag me. Mine typically loves going up on shoulders but he likes to be lifted over, not placed on from the back by his dad. So hence the tears. Oh well.
