Oh my word, tiny Elvis is so cute. This Elvis costume seemed really fitting for 2022 because of the new movie that was released this year, but honestly, Elvis is such a classic costume that it works for any year. It took me a minute to decide who I wanted to be. I didn’t want to be Priscilla because all of our mom-and-son costumes have been a strict “no couples” costume vibe. I didn’t want to be Elvis’s mother because her eyebrows are a little intense. So I decided to be his biggest fan.
I found Ben’s Elvis costume here. It was a little large, but so stinkin’ cute! We were going to use hair chalk to make his hair darker, but honestly, trying to get an 18-month-old to sit still long enough to do that seemed exhausting. So we just kind of wet it and slicked it over. He also already had a microphone rattle from his DJ table, so he carried that.
For my costume, I found this pretty 50’s-themed dress. It comes in lots of colors and patterns. I also wore my favorite white sneakers and put a bow in my hair. Voila!
