I LOVE today’s costume. I was a big Sesame Street fan growing up. Actually, if I’m being honest, I am a big Sesame Street fan as an adult too! I knew we had to do at least one Sesame Street costume during our 2022 mom-and-baby Halloween costumes. So today I’m sharing all the details of this Oscar the Grouch mom-and-baby Halloween Costume.
This costume is particularly special because my beloved aunt made Ben’s beanie! She gave it to him for Christmas last year and I just think it is the cutest thing ever! She is so talented, and I’m so happy the cooler temps are coming so he can wear it all the time.
I found these cute jammies to match his beanie. We were getting rid of this trash can because Ben can open it. He has decided everything in our house is trash and loves to throw things away. So we recently purchased a new trashcan that he can’t open. This one is a little more costume friendly, so before we completely got rid of this one, I wiped it down, put a box in the bottom and plopped Ben in it.
My costume is so easy. I just purchased a reflective vest and borrowed Stephen’s safety glasses from his workbench. I was originally pulling out my onion-cutting goggles and Stephen stopped me and said, “you know I have actual ones, right?” So I borrowed his real ones, but the onion-cutting goggles are one of my favorite purchases of all time.
I love this cutie, easy Halloween costume. Now I will be singing “I love trash” all day.
