I fully anticipated taking this costume in June, and we didn’t get around to it until September. Ben went through a little growth spurt since then, so his baby shark costume is a bit snug. However, he has 14 teeth now(!!) so his baby shark costume feels pretty appropriate.
Also, I am sure this song will be in your head all day. But Benny Shark is so darn cute, I hope you’ll forgive me.

Easily make this into a cooler weather costume by getting a size that fits and bundle up. Then for the lifeguard, you can wear pants and a jacket to transition it for cooler temps.
I purchased Ben’s baby shark costume here. He likes this one because it isn’t too complicated. Just put it on and go. It’s also soft and feels like a onesie with a hood, so he was a fan. Again, a little snug, but it probably fit in June when I ordered it and planned on taking it.

For my lifeguard costume, I ordered this red one-piece swimsuit and lifeguard visor. Then I added white cotton shorts and tennis shoes. Super easy. Again, to make it warmer, you can get a lifeguard jacket like this one and wear pants rather than shorts.
Hope you enjoy singing baby shark all day..Sorry.
