Last weekend I was in Savannah, Ga for The Blog Societies Conference. I had a great time and the city of Savannah is so beautiful. It just has the classic southern feel with the colorful houses, Spanish moss and cobblestone streets. Also, I had so much fun getting dressed to roam around this pretty town.
In this post, I’m breaking down everything I wore for the conference and to sight see in Savannah, Ga. Spoiler alert, I wore a lot of pretty flowy dresses, matching sets and florals. I felt that really fit the motif of the Savannah streets.

What I Wore in Savannah, Ga.
Pink and Orange Colorblock Two-Piece Set
I’m obsessed with this set. This was my favorite outfit from the trip. I wore it to the welcome party on the roof of the Perry Lane hotel. Also, this set has a crop top, but it’s flowy and it has a matching flowy high-waisted skirt. I am 5’5″ for reference and the skirt wasn’t too long and I wasn’t tripping on it while walking around. The top was modest enough that I felt covered, secure and not overly exposed.
Blue Skirt | Blue Top
This set is SO beautiful! The top and skirt are sold separately. but they look just gorgeous together! I love the color and the length of the skirt is great for people who have shorter legs. Also, the set is a very flattering fit and it also comes in brown.
Floral tiered dress
I wore this dress to the workshop day of the conference. It was comfy and flowy so I liked it for sitting all day. Having longer sleeves was also nice in the cold rooms. Also, it was a good option for summer when you could potentially be in cold environments. So it’s really a nice summer workwear option.
Overalls | Bodysuit | Tennis Shoes
If you follow me on Instagram, you know how much I love these overalls. I wear them at least once a week and I wear them to the park, as a pool coverup, to run errands, to pick up Ben from school – I wear them all the time. So, I brought them to go sightseeing in Savannah. They were comfy and perfect for bopping around Savannah. Also, I threw on a bodysuit and some tennis shoes to complete the look.
Button-down dress
This is one of my favorite purchases this summer and this dress is so flattering. I love the button-down style with the cute bow belt to cinch in your waist. I have the navy, but it also comes in pink!
Two-Piece Floral Set
This little blue floral set was so light and airy for the Savannah heat. The ruffled skirt is high-waisted and very flattering. You can pair it with the matching cropped top, or pair it with a cute white bodysuit. Also, the cropped top isn’t too cropped when paired with the skirt because it is so high-waisted. You can almost pull them together and wear them as a dress. I like the set together though. It is such an easy outfit to look put together by putting forth minimal effort.
Athletic Dress | Belt Bag
I wore this travel outfit to drive to Savannah. I wear an athletic dress probably four times a week. Also, I love this one because it is padded and has built-in biker shorts. So you are secure and supported from top to bottom, bottom to top! You can wear them to work out, but honestly, I wear them to go to Target and hang out with Ben.
