It’s time for another Saturday Morning Coffee Talk! Grab your coffee and let’s chat. I’m rounding up all of the highlights from our week in this post.
Saturday Morning Coffee Talk
What I Bought
What I Shared
What I Watched
Olympics, Olympics and more Olympics! We have just had it on around the clock in our house.
We have a lot of shows on our list though once the Olympics are over. We want to watch “Tinder Swindler,” Season 2 of “Love is Blind,” and “Pam and Tommy.” We will also absolutely be watching “Cool Runnings” for the millionth time. We love this movie and watch it every few months anyway, but after cheering for the Jamaican Bobsled team during the Olympics, we have to watch it again.
What I Ate
We’ve been keeping up with our meal planning. I took fewer photos last week, mostly because I was hungry and just scarfed it down, but we had some awesome meals.
We made these mini-pizzas from skinnytaste for our Super Bowl gathering and they were so tasty! We loved them so much and had leftover ingredients, so we made them again on Wednesday.
Speaking of the Super Bowl, I made this football-themed charcuterie board.
We also made a delicious spicy shrimp fried rice from Skinnytaste. We loved this one! I hope to have this one again soon.
We also made this chicken and artichoke pasta. I wanted to like this one more than I did. I don’t love sundried tomatoes so if we make it again, I will probably leave these out.
My favorite meal we made this week though was the slow cooker chicken tacos. These were SO tasty!
What I Did
Ben had another ear infection this week, so I spent the beginning of the week home with him. Then he got his helmet off on Wednesday! That was incredibly exciting. Read more about that here!
I also met my mom and my aunt for happy hour at Howell’s in Atlanta. If you are an Atlanta local, this is a great restaurant with a fantastic patio situation. I had a Georgia Peach Mojito and it was incredible. Also, all of their appetizers are divine.
Other than that, I really just played with Ben and watched the Olympics, so unfortunately, I don’t have a huge update here for you!
What I Wore
I mostly wore my favorite dingy sweatshirt from college this week with the hole in my sleeve since Ben was sick, but I did get dressed up once! I wore this stunning dress for a wedding this weekend! It’s perfect for a black-tie optional wedding. It’s only $57 and has a great adjustable zipper on the slit. You can make the slit as high or low as you like. I had mine down low because I had on Spanx, but you can also make it much higher.
I hope you had a wonderful week!
