Are you having a Christmas party this year? Putting your cocktails in an ornament is such a fun way to impress your guests! You have a lot of choices too! Lots of cocktails are red for Christmas.
You could use sangria, poinsettias (champagne and cranberry juice), or something of your own creation! My personal favorite is apple pie moonshine and cranberry ginger ale. This was actually the signature drink at our wedding. It is the perfect winter cocktail and always gets me in the Christmas spirit.
You can find clear, fillable ornaments at your local craft store or on Amazon. Use a funnel to make sure you don’t make a mess while you fill them. I also recommend placing your ornament inside a cup to fill.
To give your cocktails an elevated look, fill the glasses with cranberries and a sprig of rosemary. Then have your cocktail glasses all lined up with the ornaments on top. Your guests will love being able to grab one on their way into the party and will delight in pouring their cocktail over the cranberries.
For glasses, you can use stemless or regular wine glasses, martini glasses, high ball, whiskey glasses or whatever works with your cocktail of choice.
