I’m so excited to finally start sharing our Mom-and-Me Halloween Costume ideas! I’ll be sharing 10 costume ideas between now and Halloween. I’ll also share our family costume on actual Halloween.
This is the first of the series and I’m so excited to share it with you! I love the book, “Where the Wild Things Are” and can’t wait until Ben is old enough to really love it too! So our first costume is Max and Moishe from the book.
Striped shirt | scale leggings | horns | Max costume
Ben is obviously the cutest Max ever. This costume is really soft and cozy so he liked it too. The crown comes with numbers that you can attach if you want to use this costume for a birthday photoshoot. Also the tail easily clips into a little loop on his booty. So very easy!
For my Moishe monster costume, I purchased this striped shirt, scale leggings, and horns. The horns are great because they come on an invisible, adjustable band and you can just wear them like a headband. This is a very easy costume to throw on and go. It’s nice when the costumes are minimal effort on your part, but still cute and creative!
If you wanted to go a step further, you could easily tease your hair and give yourself a tail as well, but for this one, we wanted to make it simple! This costume would also be great for a character day at school or a birthday party theme!
Do you love “Where the Wild Things Are?” Are you dressing up for Halloween with your little one?
