For the past four years of marriage while we were renting houses and apartments, we have used the same $79 tree we bought right after we got married. We have been waiting to really invest in a Christmas tree until we bought a house. Now that we are settled into our home, we finally we ready to purchase a larger tree. Our house has 9-foot ceilings so we needed a tree that would fit inside our home without being too large. We also wanted a large tree. We figured out that an 8-foot tree was the way to go. We would still have room for our tree topper, but it wouldn’t look too small in our living room.
The difficult thing is, 8-foot trees are hard to find. You can find a 7.5 or a 9 foot no problem. However, 8-foot trees are not very common. So we did some serious research to find our tree. We knew we wanted an 8-foot tree. We wanted pre-lit LED lights and I wanted a flocked tree. Stephen didn’t have an objection to the flocked tree so that’s what we went with.
We found this tree and thought it was the perfect option for us. We ultimately decided on this one because it had a wide diameter in addition to being the right height.
However, we found MANY options that would have also worked for us. I have listed them all below!
