Hi pals! Happy Monday!
I am so excited for today’s post. I’m reviewing the coolest product ever called the RevAir (c/o). My friend Kate showed me this on social media a while ago, and I just knew I had to work with this company. The RevAir is a reverse air hair dryer, so rather than using a ton of heat and blowing your hair haphazardly all over the place, it works like a vacuum and sucks the water from your hair leaving it sleek and smooth. The best part: it works on ALL hair types.
I’m explaining it all in this post, but also be sure to head all the way to the bottom to view my YouTube video demo!
I saw the video online and lost my mind a little bit. I just couldn’t believe the results they were showing and the amount of time it took to get the sleek dry look. I legitimately hate getting ready. It’s the number one reason I cancel plans–I just don’t have the energy or patience to shower, blow dry, and style my hair. With the RevAir though, it seemed like I could combine those last two steps and move a whole lot quicker.
When I do workout, I go in the morning before work. However, I have to get up at 4:45 to pull this off and be on time. The potential to sleep in a little longer sounds amazing and will, quite frankly, encourage me to go to the gym more often.
Basically the RevAir is set up to work 3 times faster than a regular hair dryer with half the voltage. You read that right, you can get ready in half the time with half the heat damage. You’re able to adjust your settings to get the perfect results. The base unit controls the Reverse- Air tension to level seven and the wand controls the heat–you can select I or II, or O for a cool shot. The tension settings are based on the curl of your hair–the tighter the curl, the higher setting you need. I have really wavy hair naturally and after some testing, I get the best results on level 6 on the base and II on the wand.
So I reached out and the company sent me the RevAir including the base unit, the filter, the hose, and the wand. Then they sent me a fabulous wand holder, a bomb spray bottle, and four RevAir clips that are the nicest quality clips I’ve ever had. I was able to assemble the product with no problems–the instructions are super clear. It’s also super simple to use and requires no skill which is great, because I don’t have any lol.
Then I tried it. Guys. GUYS. I can’t gush enough. This is the most incredible thing I’ve ever used. These photos…these are my hair after one use with no flat iron or styling.
You basically let the wand do all the work. It sucks up your hair and you hold for 30 seconds. You put the wand flush against your scalp. Don’t move up and down the length of your hair or you might get tangles. Also, resist the urge to pump for the same reason. To dry your roots, move around your scalp. I didn’t do this very well in the video below, but I think with practice I will get better. For my crown, I pulled straight up to get volume.
One of my favorite things about the RevAir, besides cutting the time in half and giving incredible results, is the lack of hot air blowing all over me. I run so hot naturally and can’t stand being a sweaty mess while I dry my hair. This sucks, so no hot air all up on you. Just, so much yes to this.
Ok, if you want to see my results and how the product works, be sure to check out my video below. It’s my reactions, review, and demonstration live and in person. It’s truly the first time I’ve ever used it. Check it out please and thank you!
Have you tried the RevAir?

I am using a cheap hairdryer at the moment, this seems like a great product to invest in. Will check out the you tube review as well
Wow, seems like a great product! I’m all about anything that cuts down the amount of styling/drying time it takes, and it’s even better that this one doesn’t get super hot.
Well that is one interesting product to try!
I’ve heard some really excellent thoughts about this particular product! I wonder if it works even better on thin, fine hair since there’s less to dry! I’d love to give it a go at some point!
oh those pjs are so cute! you are stunning. it’s nice to meet you here.
Hmm — this is quite the nifty thing!
I have never seen anything like this before – so cool!
