Happy Friday!
I actually had a really hard time with this post. I’ll be honest. As much as I adore my husband, Valentine’s Day isn’t really my bag. I get stressed out in huge crowds of everyone trying to have a romantic dinner. I’m really a fan of pizza and a movie at the house in a low-key environment. If we do go to dinner, we go somewhere that won’t be super popular–local barbecue joint or sports bar is fine with me!
Oh, but conversation hearts are a must. No negotiation there. I love them, don’t fight me.
While I am low-key about Valentine’s Day, I do love the sentiment behind it. A day to show someone you love how much you love them. Sometimes in the day-to-day routines those gestures gets lost. So I put together this list of gifts for your man for Valentine’s Day.
The part of this post I had trouble with is the majority of gifts I found during my research were either super dirty or super cheesy. A. my family reads this blog and B. I’m not really in to cheesy gifts. As Stephen pointed out though, Valentine’s Day is pretty cheesy so a little cheese is necessary.
If my rugby-playing husband points out that gifts are supposed to be cheesy, we’re going with it. Some cheese included, but nothing extreme!
Anyway, here are my 2019 Valentine’s Day Gifts for Him. You can also check out my Christmas Gift for Him Guide for additional ideas.
-The Good Hurt Fuego 7 Pack of Hot Sauce: Y’all liked my idea of the Truff Hot Sauce at Christmas, so I found this was to up the ante. This is a 7-pack of hot sauce ranging from mild flavors like “garlic herb” to melt-your-face-off with “Ghost Pepper.” These hot sauces are inspired by exotic flavors and peppers from around the world. Plus they come in a package shaped like dynamite and I am here for it.
-Weekender Personalized Travel Bag: Most men don’t come with luggage. When you marry or date them they like always need it. So nip that problem in the bud and give him this really nice personalized canvas weekender bag. Bonus points if it comes with a weekend getaway.
-Valentine’s Beer Labels: A little cheese like we earlier discussed. Wrap up your guy’s favorite beer with these cute labels. Cheesy, but also it’s alcohol and probably appreciated.
-Chewbacca Socks: Because men love socks and most men love Chewbacca.
-Art of Shaving Travel Kit: I’ve mentioned this one lots of times before, but maybe not the travel size. Art of Shaving is so legit. We have a store in Lenox Mall in Atlanta and I genuinely enjoy going in there. A package of unique and original shaving tools beats out a can of Barbosal any day.
-Custom Bobblehead: I think this is kind of cool and this Etsy store has a ton of options. This is something unique for your guy’s desk at work. You can make him into a super hero or a regular Joe. You can also make a couple’s bobble head.
-KeySmart Classic: This is so cool. It’s a compact key and tool holder. Pack up all these nifty little tools and keys in one small container. Your man will never jingle again.
-Beef Jerkey Rose Bouquet: One time in college, Stephen made me bacon roses. I knew he was something special lol. This is so cool because these roses are already made. Cheesy for Valentine’s Day, but also it’s beef jerky so it’s manly? This particular set gives you some customizable options.
-Personalized Golf Ball Marker: This personal golf ball marker is perfect for the golfing guy. It can also have a cheese factor because you can personalize a message on the back in addition to his name. I bought one of these for my Grandpa at Christmas and they are great quality.
-Sugarfina Conversation Candy Cubes: If you man doesn’t love conversation hearts (which seems nuts to me because I love them) you can give him conversation gummies!
-Wood Sunglasses: These are Stephen’s favorites so I always include on gift guide lists!
-Romantic Toilet Paper: In case you want to go full-blown romantic but also are a bit of a comedian, this toilet paper is pretty funny.
-Custom Dog Socks: Does your man love his dog more than you? Put the doggo’s face on the socks. I feel like Stephen needs these.
-Hydro Flask: These are all the rage right now. These Hydro Flasks keep liquid cold.
-Whiskey & Rum Barrel Aged Coffee: For the man who loves coffee but also booze…this Whiskey and Rum barrel aged coffee combines the best of both worlds. This link includes a 3-pack and you can select grounds or whole beans.
What about you? What do you do for Valentine’s Day? Most importantly, do you like Conversation Hearts?
