2018 is coming to a close! It’s been a pretty fantastic year and I’m so grateful for all of the wonderful opportunities I’ve been given in 2o18. I’ve talked about a lot of different things on this blog, and I always always endorse and recommend things I actually use and love. However, I obviously have my absolute favorites of products and purchases.
Today, I wanted to compile the best of the best into one final list of the year. These are all the things I loved THE MOST in 2018. My “Hel On Heels Master List” if you will.
Let’s dive right in. These are in no particular order and I’ve linked the original blog posts if you would like more information about the products!
Ketel One Botanicals – I worked with Ketel One Botanicals earlier in the year and fell in love. I love to mix these with bubbly waters. My favorite is the Peach and Orange Blossom flavor, but really I love all three. I was contracted to work with them on Instagram, but loved the flavors so much I did a blog post too. Wide-Calf Over The Knee Boots – Man oh man, these boots changed my life. I found the perfect over-the-knee boots for wide calves. I wrote a post with the best over-the-knee boots and gave lots of options, but these babies take the cake. Also, I found them on Amazon which I love because they were here in two days.
No B.S. Charcoal Mask – It’s no secret I love the entire No B.S. line. The charcoal mask was new this year, and I have to say it’s the cream of the crop. If you’re looking for a fabulous charcoal mask, LOOK NO FURTHER!
Cooluli Mini Fridge – If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve seen this featured many times. This little guy fits perfectly on your desk and holds six cans. It serves as a fridge and a warmer. It is 100% one of my favorite purchases this year because I always have cold (and I mean cold) Diet Cokes at work. I’m actually going to order another one for my bathroom to have a skin fridge!
Algenist Lip Collagen – I’ve raved about this on the blog too. I love this liquid gold. This stuff makes my lips look fuller almost instantly. I drink from a straw all the time and worry about lip lines, so I can’t rave about this enough.
Blue Light Blocker Glasses – You can check out WHY you need blue light blocker glasses here. If you look at a computer screen all day, it’s a great idea to invest in a pair of these glasses so you don’t get eye fatigue.
GLOW Recipe Watermelon Sleep Mask – I mean where have I not mentioned this product? It’s my Holy Grail, my best friend, the peanut butter to my jelly, yin to my yang. It’s my favorite product in the world. You KNEW it would be on here. Check it featured here, here, here, here, and in the gift guides.
TaoTronics Noise Canceling Headphones – I actually haven’t talked about these much. I did include them in a gift guide, but did not give them their own post. This actually seems a little crazy because I use these weekly. I recently moved my desk at work into the sales section. I don’t do sales, but sit in that section. That means everyone around me is on the phone all the time, so I had to do something so I could focus. I purchased these in pink (duh) and my entire environment changed.
Too Faced Better Than Sex + Pur Fully Charged Mascaras – I use this combination to get my lashes long and dark. I featured this combo in this post. I love to use the combo of these two mascaras. The effect is awesome and I love my lashes.
Mario Badescu Glycolic Acid Toner – This toner saved my skin. I featured it actually not that long ago. This toner is $18 for a large bottle. I’m so serious. It has helped with any acne scars and aided in preventing new acne. I’m head-over-heels.
Mega Babe Thigh Rescue – I talked about this on my “how to prepare for a music festival” post. If you are a mermaid (aka your thighs touch) you need this. I have saved my inner thighs from being rubbed raw so many times this year. This stick is a game changer!!
Packing Cubes – These were prominently featured in my “how to pack a carry-on” post. I love love love my packing cubes. I almost always pack in a carry-on and my cute little grey flamingos fit everything I need.
Power Dry.Me – Do you dry your hair? Do you also hate drying your hair because it takes too long? This cuts the drying time in HALF. I put it on my spring superlatives post. I can dry my hair in seven minutes. I’m so serious.
SuperGoop Setting Mist – I try to sneak SPF in wherever I can. This is such an easy way to do that. You can set your make-up AND add SPF into your daily routine. I talked about this one for the first time on a Q&A.
Herbivore Rose Hibiscus Coconut Water Hydrating Face Mist – Stay hydrated all day with this hydrating mist. Plus is smells ah-mazing. I love this product too! Check it out here, here and here.
Tinkles – Yep, I shave my face. Not with Barbosal and a straight razor, but I can’t stand those blonde baby hairs on my jaw. So I use Tinkles! BONUS, it’s a great exfoliant. Check out my original post here.
Touche Eclat Radiance Perfecting Pen – I haven’t actually featured this on the blog yet, but it’s a recent favorite! My friend recommended it and I LOVE it. It erases any imperfection, dark circle, or acne scar. It’s so good!
Spanx Faux Leather Leggings – I mean obviously. While jeans say no more Christmas cookies, Spanx leggings are like “go ahead girl, we got you.” Can’t get enough.
Sequin Slippers – These I feature on Instagram weekly. Not a joke. OMG I love them. They have a plush faux-fur lining and rose gold sequins. I just bought two more pair because I’m going to be devastated when this season’s pair are done.
Bioré Pore Penetrating Charcoal Bar – I use this bar every single day and it’s become part of my skin care routine. I love how it cleans my pores! I keep it in the shower so I never forget to use it and just wash my face with the bar. I originally featured it here.
