You guys! Today is the day! I am on my way to DISNEY WORLD!
I’m so excited in case you can’t tell! Hubbs and I are off to blog about all the fun things you can do at Disney when you’re adult without kids. We also need some days off work like whoa. Do you ever get to that point where you are just totalllllly burned out? Yeah, we’re there…
So we are going for some fun, blogging, and pure magic!
When I fly, I like to pack in carry-on. I have a terrible fear of losing my luggage and being in a fun place without all my cute clothes I picked out for the trip. So today, I thought I would share how I pack a carry on. Honestly it’s a challenge but I feel like I’ve perfected this art, and am a full blown professional.
So I’ll break this into two parts: my quart-sized bag and my actual carry-on.
So when it comes to my quart-sized bag, I turn into a little mini Albert Einstein potions master. Lol if you saw my stories the other day, I was creating all kinds of concoctions to make everything fit.
The best thing I’ve purchased for packing are these little jars and mini-spatulas. They come in different sizes and hold the perfect amounts of product you need! I went ahead and pre-mixed some of the products I combine like my moisturizer and hydration serum.
I use them for all my oils, serums, lotions, gets and creams and the little spatulas are so handy. I also purchased these 1 ounce bottles for things like my face wash, shampoo, and conditioner. Honestly 3 oz are too large for a long weekend trip, so I love these little 1 ounce bottles. Most importantly, they take up less room. I love them!
So the quart-sized bag is just the beginning. I also have to fit all my outfits into a carry on sized bag. That’s where these ADORABLE compression organizers come in. Are they not absolutely adorable?
My sorority chapter had the flamingo as their mascot, so I have a bit of thing for flamingos. I’m just obsessed with these. They are grey and pink flamingos and SO helpful with packing.
There are so many different sizes including an organizer for shoes! Yaaaasss.
So I use the largest one for my clothes. It’s large enough that I can pack all my clothes in this one. I just fold up all the clothes that are going and pack them in. Then I fasten the little straps and zip it up!
Then I pack other things like my make-up wipes, BiorĂ© strips, hair brush, straightener, deodorant (fun fact: deodorant doesn’t have to go into your quart-sized bag if it’s powder), non-liquid make-up, etc.
Then I pack all my compartments in my cutie patootie carry on and zip it up! TA-DA! See so easy?!
Do you prefer to carry-on or check a bag? How do you pack a carry on?

omg friend have SUCH an amazing time 🙂 You deserve it!
I always struggle with this. Over the past few years, packing cubes have become my best friend.
I will try the little pots on my next trip. All those products, even the travel size ones you can get, take up too much room.
I’m a flight attendant and will be buying everything you listed except the suitcase! Great tips!
