Stephen and I took a night for ourselves last week and had a special weeknight date night. We have been SO busy over the past few weeks, so we needed some self-care and made a special evening eating lots of lobster. We visited the Tucker location on LaVista Road and had fabulous service from Wanda! She took great care of us and made our date night very enjoyable. If you’re in the Atlanta area, you have to go for a visit!
Stephen and I started the evening with a glass of the Tropical White Sangria (Moscato, pineapple and mango juices with a splash of Sprite® for a touch of fizz) and the Lobster Lover’s Punch (Captain Morgan®, Bacardi® and Malibu® rum, shaken with berry and pineapple juice.) Because it’s the 50th anniversary, these drinks can be upgraded and served in a 50th Anniversary Collectible glass or with a 50th Anniversary Wine Charm.
We enjoyed our cocktails and some cheese biscuits. Side note, can you really go to Red Lobster and not eat an entire basket of cheese biscuits? If you can, teach me your ways because I don’t have that level of self control. They’re so tasty.
After our cocktails, we split a Lobster Truffle Mac & Cheese appetizer and went to heaven and back. This mac & cheese consists of Maine and langostino lobster tossed with cavatappi pasta in a cheesy truffle lobster cream, topped with toasted Parmesan panko crumb. Did you read that description and start drooling? Whatever you’re picturing, it’s even better than you think. My tummy is grumbling just looking at this picture again lol!
After we enjoyed our appetizer, Stephen ordered the Lobsterfest® Surf and Turf which includes a tender Maine lobster tail paired with choice of a wood-grilled sirloin, NY Strip or filet mignon, topped with a langostino and Maine lobster beurre blanc. It’s served with mashed potatoes and choice of side.
I ordered the Lobster Lover’s Dream® which consists of a succulent roasted rock lobster tail and sweet split Maine lobster tail, steamed and served with lobster and shrimp linguini alfredo. I ate every bite. No shame. It was so tasty. The lobster was obviously divine (Hello, Lobsterfest!) But the shrimp linquini was again so delicious. Red Lobster really shines with their pasta dishes.
One reason I just love Red Lobster is all of the seafood served is sourced in a manner that is Traceable, Sustainable and Responsible to ensure that a healthy seafood supply exists now and for generations. If you would like to read more about how and where Red Lobster sources its lobsters, visit: http://cbi.as/a1mr6.

Visiting Red Lobster for weeknight date night was just the ticket. Hubbs and I love to just take a beat during our crazy hectic schedules for an hour or two to enjoy each other’s company and some delicious lobster treats! It’s good for our relationship because we genuinely like each other and want to spend time together, so a week night date night is just what we need sometimes. (P.S. how handsome is my hubby?? I just love him!)

I haven’t been to a Red Lobster in so long. They shut down our only location back home in Maine. But that food looks amazing!
I can’t resist their biscuits! It looks like you had a delicious meal, and I’m glad to know that they have an environmentally sound lobster program in place.
