So before we get into any of this.. I am officially going to Charleston Fashion Week next week! I’m super excited and will be there Thursday-Sunday. If you are going, hit me up please so we can hang out at the events!
Ok, back to today’s post. So even though the flu derailed me a little, Hubbs and I have been trying to exercise regularly. This summer we started renting a new house and our garage has a little spare room than we have turned into a home gym. A home gym is a great option for me in particular, because I have very little motivation to actually go to a gym. I like to work out early in the morning rather than the afternoon, so I only have to change and stumble downstairs rather than get in my car and head to a gym. Also it saves us some moolah!
So we have filled it with things we need. We have strength training, cardio, free weights, foam mats, you name it…ok not everything. But we have what we need.
Here are some of the things we included and where to buy them:

Thigh master (Why yes, I do have one…don’t make it weird)
I also have a large piece of plywood that I use for tapping. I was a dancer growing up and I miss it a lot, so Stephen and I bought a board at Home Depot and I use it to dust off the old tap shoes and play around.
It’s not the most beautiful room in the house — it’s in our garage after all, but it is SO nice to have this space in our house where we can get our workouts in. I can do all my BBG workouts, and even have room for Fitness Marshall dance parties. Stephen can lift heavy things and do what he does. It’s great. We even get in a little cardio with our twist stepper.
