Murder on the Orient Express + Godiva

This week, Stephen and I had a mid-week date night to see Murder on the Orient Express. This movie is based on the novel by Agatha Christie (and the original movie…lol!) The main character Hercule Poirot is a world famous detective who happens to hop aboard the Orient Express the same night a man is murdered. Hercule and his fabulous mustache must piece together the facts and question the passengers to find out who is the murderer among them.

This movie has an ALL STAR cast. It includes A-listers like Judi Dench, Johnny Depp, Josh Gad, Penelope Cruz, and Michelle Pfeiffer. The costumes and cinematography are drop dead gorgeous, and I really liked the story line. I like to consider myself a bit of a detective (I’m actually just really creepy on social media), but I always try to figure out the ending of a movie before it plays out. In this movie, I figured out pieces, but not the whole solution.

All around, this was a really great movie. However, the best part is the Murder on the Orient Express Godiva chocolate collection (c/o). It comes in a lovely box with a silhouette of the Orient Express on the side. Then when you open it, there are three delectable flavors of chocolate all with a chocolate mustache on top similar to the one Hercule sports in the movie.

The three flavors include:

• Moustache Blanc–dark chocolate ganache with a white chocolate shell
• Moustache Lait –almond praliné with coconut in a milk chocolate shell
• Moustache Noir — Tangy raspberry ganache in a dark chocolate shell

My favorite is hands down the Moustache Lait, and Stephen likes the Moustache Blanc. We definitely took one for the team by tasting them all for you…
