Halloween is kind of becoming the equivalent of Valentine’s Day. When you’re in a relationship, or heck even going to a sorority party in college with a date, the conversation of a couple’s costume comes up. However, some of them are horribly cheesy. I don’t want to blatantly brand Stephen and humiliate him in front of our friends, so I try to come up with ideas that are clever but that he would like too. This excludes our first Halloween party where we went as Popeye and Black Swan. Call me crazy, but I don’t think those two ever crossed paths except in sorority land.
Based on every time I log into Pinterest, I would have to guess the top costumes this year are going to be: Pennywise, a unicorn, Wonder Woman, and Beauty and the Beast. However, if you want some more ideas, I came up with this list of 100 couple’s Halloween costumes! I’ve broken them down into categories so you can pick the perfect one for you and your person.
I’ve even included a few examples of costumes we have done in the past. Obviously, the photo quality is spectacular, but here we go!

This is such a great post of ideas! My husband and I did Waynes World a couple of years ago and I loved it. We did Mario and Luigi once too. This year we’re going to be a family of donuts though at the request of my son. 🙂

This is a great list! So extensive. I love that you guys dress up together every year! My time has now taken me to dressing up as a family (this year we’re bring trolls). But if we ever get a halloween out together, I would love to use some of these ideas.

These are such good ideas! I can never decide on what I want to be and my fiance never wants to dress up. But I love Halloween mainly because I get to use a lot of glitter or fake blood. I love makeup 🙂

Love them! My husband never joins in when we dress up, which is such a shame! I think we would have so much fun doing it, but then its only fun when the other person also enjoys it! You have done a great job!

I love dressing up for Halloween, but my honey isn’t the biggest fan. I try to find costumes in our closets each year since I know he doesn’t REALLY wanna dress up anyway. Last year we went as clark kent/superman and lois lane. I love these ideas!
