Do you guys love make-up and skin products as much as I do? I love to try out the newest and most recommended products. Seriously, my product closet it out of control…
With that being said, we’re past due for a good ole fashion Sephora haul. Here are the products I tried this month and my thoughts on them.
Sunday Riler Saturn Sulfer Acne Treatment Mask – 3/5 Stars
So I have a love hate with this product. I love it because it works. I hate it because it stinks. Not stinks as in it’s ineffective, it actually stinks. You know when you go to the beach and it has that ocean water smell while you shower. It smells like that. It smells like sulfer. It does really work though. I had a breakout at night, used the mask, and in the morning it was totally and completely gone. So will I keep using it? Yes, but I need to find an after product to remove the smell.
Too Cool For School Punpkin 24k Gold Mask – 4/5
Pumpkin season is officially here ladies. This mask is super fun. I tried in on my girl’s night in this weekend and really liked it. At first I couldn’t tell much of a difference, but then the next morning, I noticed how glowy and dewey it made my skin. Plus my make-up application that day was super easy and flawless. So overall, I really like it.
Dr. Brandt No More Baggage Eye De-puffing Gel – 5/5
Love love love this product. I wear this under my make-up and it is night and day difference from the gross puffy nonsense I wake up with. It goes on smooth, doesn’t sting my eyes, and doesn’t stink. I’m so self-conscious about my dark puffy under eye bags, so this product is my number one pick from the haul.
Glow Recipe Watermelon Sleeping Mask – 4/5
Ok so while the sulfer mask stinks, the watermelon mask smells amazing. This mask makes my skin feel SO good. Like baby silky soft. I wish I could cover my entire body in this mask but that seems excessive. I would give it 5/5, but I still haven’t quite mastered sleeping in a mask. This mask just improves the tone and quality of my skin so much, and I just feel pretty after I wear it. Highly recommend.
Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Nude Lip – 3/5
So I’ve been looking for the perfect nude lip and this sample kit is pretty awesome. There are at least four realllly great options for a classic nude lip. The reason I gave it 3/5 is a few of these are not nude… I really like whatever shade they are, but it’s not what you think when you think “nude.” Especially when you are pale, that has a whole different meaning.
This combo is my favorite. This is the Tarte stick with the Buxom gloss over it. I also love the Make Up Forever stick, but it’s one of those that definitely doesn’t fall into the nude category. I love it for nighttime though.
So there we have it! Everything from my latest haul.
Have you tried any of these products? What’s your favorite make-up or skincare product at the moment?
That pumpkin masks looks so fun! I’ll have to treat myself and pick one up sometime!
I got a bit of birthday money and I’ve been thinking a trip to Sephora will be needed sometime soon! I can’t stand the smell of sulfur–that is one awful smell!
Wow! I love you beauty stuff and tips… WE cannot go to party without using them…
Ooooh love seeing your haul! I definitely want to try out those watermelon and pumpkin masks; they both sound amazing!
Ooh i haven’t seen the watermelon or pumpkin masks yet! Adding those to my cart next
That watermelon mask sounds nice! Also, I didn’t know there are pumpkin masks! How fun for fall.
I love anything from Dr. Brandt, such a good skincare line. I must try that gel!
