Good Morning! So I had a whole fitness post written for today, hated all the pictures I took, decided to retake them at 9:30 last night, realized it was too dark and gave up on that. However, you guys asked a few good questions yesterday in response to my Unmentionable Beauty Products post, so I figured I would do a quicky post answering your questions. Mostly these questions are about Tinkles. To be completely honest, this is the first time I’ve really had people ask me questions about something I wrote, so thank you for taking an interest. A lot of these came through email or direct messages, so we’re staying anonymous, but in case you may have some of the same questions I’m answering them here.
Ok, let’s do it!
You said you have hair on your head and your eyebrows, does that mean you shave your arms?
Yep, I do. I just use a regular razor. I like the multicolored pack of cheap Bic razors you can buy at any drugstore, and I shave just like I would shave my legs.
Do the charcoal pore strips hurt when you take them off?
Nope, not at all. These are not those black masks that are all over Facebook with people in pure agonizing pain peeling them off. These are just super pore strips. The only thing that happens to me is some of the charcoal gets left behind, but I just stick my hand under the sink and rub it off. It’s super easy to remove with water.
How often do you use a Tinkle?
Once a week-ish with touch-ups in between. Whenever the blonde hairs are back. The best test for me is to check in my mirror while I’m in traffic. Natural sunlight is the best for seeing all your imperfections.
What direction do you use your Tinkle?
I move whatever direction gets the hair off. Up, down, sideways. Whatever. I just make sure to pull my skin tight for ease.
Do you put anything on your face after using a Tinkle?
I don’t usually. I get weird about putting oil on my face. I think it’s just a mental thing. I usually just wash my face beforehand and call it a day. I really don’t get razor burn or breakouts or anything afterwards, just smooth exfoliated skin.
Thank y’all so much for your questions and response to yesterday’s post. If you have additional questions, you can comment below, email me at helonheelsblog@gmail.com, or direct message me on Instagram.
