What if I told you there was a DIY Manicure for $16 that looks professional and is in colors you actually want to wear? Would you believe me?
I like to have pretty nails, but I would honestly rather spend my money on clothes than a manicure. So when I found out about Static Nails, I had to test them out. These are the first reusable high-quality nails. Plus they are vegan/cruelty free so that’s great.
I love that they come in colors one would actually want to wear, and areย can be customized. They can be clipped and filed into your desired shape. You can also paint them, so whatever color you want, you can have!
My nails pictured here are the color “Bitten” in the matte collection, but I’ve linked several color options below.
I’ve been a nail-biter my entire life, so these are the perfect solution for me. With 24 nails included in a kit and the promise to reuse the ones on my hand, this kit is perfection. The box says they will last for up to 18 days or can be reapplied up to six times. All this for $16?? Yes, please!
I’ve only had them on for two days, but they feel very secure. I’ve showered, worked, petted Molly, etc. and they are still on. I haven’t tried to paint them, but I’m looking forward to that test. I will say they were super easy to clip and file into a manageable length.
I like the matte, but would love to try some of their other colors as well. I think these are a great alternative for busy girls on a budget, and amย giving them the “Helen Seal of Approval.”
How do you feel about DIY manicures?ย

How do you put them on? Is it like super glue? I’d love to know what you think about them after wearing them longer! And hear how long they last, how they come off, how rescuing them works, etc!
Yeah, it’s a super strong glue. To take them off you just soak in really warm water for awhile. So I will say they didn’t last 18 days, but that’s because of who I am as a person. I peeled them off. However, it was me, not them, that was the problem. My nails underneath are totally fine. Not like how they are after I get acrylics in the salon.
This sounds really cool! I’ve never had false nails that lasted that long. I need to try them!

I haven’t tried these, but I’ve been looking at doing this myself. Thanks for the post – I’ll be saving it for later!
Let me know how they work for you!
I love the color! These look so chic and professional!
Yes! I wore them to work and felt totally fine!
I haven’t tried these! I have tried something similar and they didn’t work for me. I would love to hear how they work out after 18 days! I am a girl who goes to the nail salon exactly every 2 weeks..if I don’t I bite my nails as well!
They really stay on! I’ll be honest and say they didn’t make it 18 days because of who I am as a person. I pulled them off, but I really do think they would have stayed.
Your mani turned out so cute, Helen! ๐
Doing my nails is one of my favorite ways to practice self care on the regular, so I’m always looking for new and creative options for at-home manicures.

I love DIY manicures! Yours came out so cute! BTW we have very similar engagement and wedding rings!! I was going to do the marquee round but instead did multi round different sizes since the marquee didn’t look quite right on my hand! But i am obsessed with the look!
