Our honeymoon was incredible! We spent a week in all-inclusive paradise and didn’t want to come home. I gained 8 pounds on the trip…8! I ate three or four meals a day between our fancy restaurants, free drinks, and 24-hour free room service, you can’t really blame me.
Although I’m pretty sure half these outfits didn’t fit by the end of the trip, I worked really hard on planning my honeymoon clothes…mostly because I wanted Stephen to see me in something other than my classic old Zeta t-shirt and Nike short combo.
So, because I was so proud of these, here are my favorite honeymoon looks:
This bathing suit was amazing. It covered all your parts, was super comfortable AND was less than $20. I’m so serious. This was one of my favorite things I wore on the whole trip. Also, the birds are named Tequila and Brandy…
I wore this dress to our romantic, private dinner and I swear I’ve never felt this pretty in my life. It’s a one-strap, asymmetrical dream. I would wear it every day if that wasn’t weird and inappropriate.
Tank originally from Red Dress Boutique, but sold out. Here is another version.
This is literally my favorite tank of all time. I wore it on Cinco De Mayo but brought it back out for Mexico. I got so many compliments on it from both people who worked at our resort and tourists like us.
I wore this romper with cut-outs to the tapas bar and loved it! I definitely would recommend wearing this earlier in the week if you plan to eat as much as I did… I wore this the first real night we were there and it was perfect! I wouldn’t recommend standing next to an orange wall though cause this baby is hot pink!
I call this look, “I’m getting ready to go on world tour with the Spice Girls.” This is a dress, but it’s a crop one-shoulder with a cut-out. It’s so 90’s and I love it so much. I wore this to hibachi. Also, hibachi in Mexico is like watching a Saturday Night Live skit in Spanish. It’s amazing.
This is the only photo I got of this romper/maxi combo and I’m so bummed because when you walk the train on this thing flies behind you. I literally felt like I was in the Victoria’s Secret fashion show. I didn’t even need to go to the delicious Mexican dinner I had in this one, I just wanted to strut around the resort. Also, it’s on sale for only $20 right now!
Honeymooning is fun, but more on that later! What’s your favorite vacation outfit?
