I’m back! No seriously…
I got married, went to Mexico on my honeymoon, and came back
ready to blog. It was like magic, the break was exactly what I needed to get
everything done and come back refreshed with a notebook chock full of ideas for
blog posts.

I missed blogging so much… almost as much as I missed
Halloween! October is my favorite month, which was why my wedding was in
October (well that and my hair finally looks like hair, rather than a lion
mane/Q-tip hybrid). However, with my whole life revolving around the wedding I
missed all of my favorite October traditions. Bless my sweet bridesmaid Niki
for making plans for us so we could celebrate Halloween on Saturday night with
our pals. We literally got off the plane, put on our Legends of the Hidden Temple
costumes, and were at the Virginia Highland Halloween Bar Crawl in less than an
hour. If that’s not commitment to this holiday, I don’t know what is.

Since we did get to wear a costume, I get to check that off
the list. However, tonight I’m doing a crash course in Halloween. When I get
off work, I’m taking care of everything I didn’t do this month in a few hours.

Here is my one-day Halloween Bucket List:
-Marathon movie it with The
Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, Toy
Story of Terror, Hocus Pocus, and
Halloweentown… Some of these may span
over in to tomorrow night. I can celebrate on Nov. 1 too right?

–Take pictures of Molly and Mimo in Halloween costumes…also purchase
Halloween costumes for Molly and Mimo.
-Eat so many Skittles I want to die.
-Carving pumpkins might be ambitious since it is actually Oct. 31, and I’m
pretty sure they are hard to find at this point, but I might find one I can
paint a face on quickly.

-Listen to a Halloween playlist. I’m guessing I don’t have time to make my own
so I am borrowing from the internet.

-Drink something warm even though it’s 87 degrees today. This is not an
exaggeration. This is actually happening in Atlanta. I will have to turn the
air on to do this.

-Light a fall-themed candle.
-Going to a pumpkin patch is probably not happening, so I might just look at
pumpkins and gourds at Kroger.

I think that might be all I have time for…
Wish me luck, but
more importantly wish Stephen luck. Tonight, he might regret the fact that he married
me. #BasicHalloweenGirl
