Made you look, didn’t I? That’s good, because I actually need your help. We’re not talking about actually getting naked, but naked cakes!
I happen to love them, but I’m worried they are too trendy. I don’t want to look back on my wedding in 30 years and wonder, “what the heck was I thinking with this cake?” However, I love the simplicity and elegance that it brings to a wedding.
With that being said, I also love frosting… At birthday parties, I look for the piece of cake with the big rose. Of course, buttercream just happens to be my favorite, which is the most popular in wedding cakes. Convenient, huh??
Oh don’t worry, the schizophrenia continues. I ALSO love cakes with a simple structure but well made. Yep, you guessed it, fondant. While it doesn’t taste as good, it obviously looks amazing.
We have cake tastings on Saturday, and I feel that I need to make up my mind before then about the direction I want to take. That’s where YOU come in. I need help deciding. Please vote for your favorite cake style 1, 2 or 3. As a thank-you, have a coffee on me!
