I am in a lot of weddings. Just call me Katherine Heigl. Just kidding, it’s not THAT many. I love weddings, especially the ones of my close friends. I love being there for them on their special day. I love organizing the events leading up to it. I love being a friend and a bridesmaid.
However, with wedding territory comes wedding workouts. Nobody wants to be the big bridesmaid. I lost 22 pounds before I left for Jamaica. Here was my original before and after. I have never in my entire life weighed as much as I did on the left. It makes me nauseous just looking at it.
So, today is the day I get started again. No more skipping workouts, no more happy hour before Zumba (because tipsy Zumba is just not effective), back to the 400 Calorie Fix, and for God’s sake I am charging my FitBit today. It has been on my ta-da list for weeks and I am doing it today if it kills me.
Alright, I’m off for a workout and a smoothie. Stay tuned for fitness and health updates because they’re coming back in a big way.
PS. I am on Day 12 of blog construction. I’m losing my mind.
